FEATURES/POSITIONS & PNL CARDS

Positions and PnL cards: your whole portfolio, across every account, in one panel.

What the Positions panel shows, how to sort, filter, hide and move positions across accounts, how Sell 100% and the Mini App work, and how to generate a shareable PnL card from any position.

What the Positions panel is

The Positions panel is your portfolio view inside Telegram. Tap Positions on the main menu and Cove shows every token you hold across your selected accounts as a compact list: chain, token, market cap, PnL, position worth and the account that holds it — with balances and totals underneath and a row of actions for managing everything without leaving the chat.

For a trader running several accounts across a dozen chains, this is the single most important screen after the trading panel. It answers the questions you ask ten times a day: what am I holding, what's it worth, what's up, what's down, and which account is it in.

What each row shows

Every token row in the panel gives you a snapshot:

COLUMNMEANING
ChainThe network the token lives on, shown as a badge
TokenName and ticker
Market capCurrent market capitalisation from live pricing
PnLProfit or loss against your entry, in USD and percent
WorthCurrent value of the position in USD
AccountWhich of your Cove accounts holds it

Below the list, the panel shows your account balance — unified USDC available to trade — and the total positions value across everything visible. Together they give you a one-glance answer to "how much am I deployed and how much is dry powder."

Panel actions

The action row at the bottom of the panel covers the operations you need day to day.

ACTIONWHAT IT DOES
RefreshReloads the latest balances, prices and PnL

Sell 100%Sells an entire position in one tap when enabled in Settings
MoveMoves a position between accounts or destinations

Sorting

Positions can be sorted by Worth or by Age. Worth puts your largest exposures at the top — the ones that move your total most. Age puts your newest entries first, which is what you want when you've just taken several positions and are managing their exits. Switching between the two is one tap.

Filters

Filters let you narrow the list to particular accounts or position groups. If you run a dedicated account for long-term holds and another for intraday trading, filtering to one account gives you a clean view of that strategy alone. Filters also control which accounts' balances roll into the totals below the list.

Refresh

Prices and PnL reflect the moment the panel was rendered. Tap Refresh to pull the latest figures. Cove doesn't hammer price feeds constantly in a Telegram message, so refresh before making a decision on a fast-moving token.

Hiding positions

Any active trader accumulates dust: leftovers from partial sells, airdrops, positions in tokens that went to zero, tiny test buys. Left in the main list they bury the positions that matter.

Hide positions removes them from the default view without touching them on-chain.

  1. Tap Hide positions to open the hide menu.
  2. Tap Hide next to any position you want out of the main list.
  3. Use Show hidden to switch to the hidden-position view.
  4. Tap Unhide to return a position to the main list.
Hidden positions are not sold, moved or altered in any way. They're still yours and still in your account. Hiding only changes what the panel shows by default.

Hidden positions are excluded from the main list but you can always review them through Show hidden. A good habit is to sweep dust into hidden after each trading session so the panel stays readable.

Sell 100% and Move

Sell 100% appears next to positions when you've enabled it in Settings → Position panel. It sells the entire position in one tap from the Positions list — no need to open the token panel and tap a 100% sell preset. It's fast, which is exactly why it's off by default; enable it if you're comfortable with a one-tap full exit.

Move relocates a position between your accounts or to another destination. If you bought a token in your intraday account and decided to hold it long-term, Move puts it in the account where you keep long-term positions, and the Positions view updates accordingly.

Position details

Tap into any position, or use View detailed from the trading panel, to open the full position details view. Beyond the row snapshot you get:

  • Cost basis — what you paid in total.
  • Entry market cap — where the token was when you entered, so you can see the multiple.
  • Supply percentage — how much of the token's supply you hold, which matters for exit planning on small tokens.
  • Active orders — take-profit, stop-loss and DCA rungs attached to the position, with Edit and Cancel where supported.
  • Actions — sell presets, Generate PnL, and the Limit menu for adding orders.

The Positions Mini App

For a bigger view than a Telegram message allows, Positions Mini App opens the expanded position experience in a Telegram Mini App. It's the same data with more room: more positions per screen, richer detail per position and the full action set. Mini Apps run inside Telegram, so you're still not switching to a browser or a separate wallet.

History

History shows your past position activity — entries, exits, fills from orders — so you can review how a position developed. It's useful for post-trade review and for reconciling what a PnL card is showing against the actual sequence of fills.

PnL cards

A PnL card is a shareable image generated from a position's current profit or loss. Tap Generate PnL from the trading panel or position details and Cove renders a card showing the token, your entry, current value and the PnL in percent and USD.

Why they exist

Traders share results. Group chats run on them, communities are built on them, and a card generated by the tool that executed the trade is more credible than a cropped screenshot. Cove's PnL cards are consistent, branded and pull from the real position data, so what's on the card is what's in the account.

Generating a card

  1. Open the position from Positions or the trading panel.
  2. Tap Generate PnL.
  3. Cove returns the card as an image in the chat.
  4. Forward it, save it, or post it to your group.

The card reflects the position at the moment of generation. If you want the card to show a realised result, generate it after the sell; for an unrealised snapshot, generate it while holding.

What's on the card

Token name and ticker, the chain, your entry market cap or price, current market cap or price, the position's PnL as a percentage and in USD, and Cove branding. It doesn't expose your wallet address or account balances — only the position's performance.

Positions across multiple accounts

Because Cove supports multiple accounts, Positions is inherently multi-account. The Account column tells you where each position sits, filters let you focus on one account or see everything, and totals roll up across whatever is visible.

If you've used multi-wallet trading to buy the same token from several accounts, Positions shows one row per account for that token. Each has its own PnL, worth and orders. To see the aggregate, leave all accounts visible; to manage one account's slice, filter to it.

Settings that shape the panel

Two settings in Settings → Position panel change how Positions behaves:

  • Sell 100% in Positions — shows the direct full-sell action next to each position.
  • Sell 100% Links — enables full-position sell links for position actions, useful when Cove is sharing position actions into groups.

Neither is on by default. Both are conveniences for traders who exit positions whole and often.

A daily workflow with Positions

Morning. Open Positions, tap Refresh, sort by Worth. Your largest exposures are on top. Check PnL on each. Anything that hit a level overnight should show a filled take-profit or stop in History.

During the session. After each new buy, Positions sorted by Age puts it on top. Confirm its Auto TP/SL orders attached by tapping into details. Hide any dust from partial sells.

Evening. Filter to your intraday account. Anything you don't want to hold overnight gets Sell 100% or a stop attached. Anything you've decided to keep gets moved to your holding account. Generate a PnL card for the trade of the day if the group wants it.

The panel is designed so each of those steps is one or two taps. The whole review takes less time than opening a portfolio tracker.

Why a compact panel beats a dashboard

Portfolio dashboards in browsers show everything and make you find what matters. Cove's Positions panel shows what matters and lets you dig in when you want more. Chain, token, PnL, worth, account — that's the decision-making set. Everything else is one tap deeper in details or the Mini App.

For traders working across fourteen chains from a phone, that's the right trade-off. You don't need a chart of your allocation by sector. You need to know, right now, which positions are up, which are down and which account they're in — and to be able to act on that in the same place you see it.

Positions and orders together

Every row in Positions is also the entry point to that position's orders. Tap in and you see the resting take-profits, stop-loss and DCA rungs attached, each with Edit and Cancel where supported. A quick daily check is to sort by Worth, open the top five positions and confirm each has a stop. Anything without one gets one from the Sell panel — or you enable Auto TP/SL so the question never arises on future buys.

Positions across chains

Positions is chain-agnostic in the same way the trading panel is. A Solana memecoin, a Base launch and a HyperEVM position sit in the same list with a chain badge on each. Totals sum across chains in USD. You don't have a "Solana portfolio" and a "Base portfolio" — you have a portfolio, funded from one balance and managed from one panel.

Reading PnL correctly

PnL is measured against your cost basis in USDC, which Cove records at fill. Fees paid on the buy are part of the cost. Fees on a future sell aren't deducted until you sell, so an unrealised +5% on a small position can be roughly flat after the exit fee — the panel shows worth so you can see the absolute number, not just the percentage. For positions built over several fills, cost basis is the blended average.

Frequently asked

Why does a position show in two rows? It's held in two accounts. Filter to one account to see only its slice, or leave both visible for the total.

Why did my hidden position reappear? Hiding is per position. A new buy of the same token in the same account updates that position and it stays hidden; a buy in a different account creates a new, visible row.

Can I export my history? History shows past activity inside Telegram. For record-keeping, PnL cards and receipts are the shareable artefacts.

Does Sell 100% ask for confirmation? It respects your Sell Confirm setting. With Sell Confirm on, you see the card first; with it off, the sell executes immediately — which is why Sell 100% in Positions is off by default.

Is the PnL card a live link? It's an image. Generate a fresh one when the position changes.

Using Positions with resting orders and ladders

A position with active orders shows them in its details, but the Positions list itself is where you notice when something is missing. After a session of multi-wallet buys or filled DCA rungs, sort by Age, tap into each new row and confirm the orders you expect are attached — Auto TP/SL makes this a formality, but a manual check the first few times builds the habit. If a take-profit has fired, History records the fill and the row's worth drops accordingly; if a stop has fired, the row disappears and the receipt is in your chat. Hidden positions keep their orders; hiding a position never cancels anything attached to it, so a dust position with a forgotten stop will still exit if the level is hit. For traders who want a clean list and complete protection, the routine is: hide the dust, keep the orders, review History once a day.
