What Cove Buy is

Cove Buy is a Telegram tool for groups and channels. Add it to your community and every token contract address that gets posted is turned into a scan card with Quick Buy buttons underneath. Members tap a button and buy through Cove — no copy-paste, no switching to a bot in another chat, no losing the entry while they set up. The group owner earns from the activity.

It solves a problem every alpha group, call channel and trading community has: the gap between "a call is posted" and "a member has the token" is where entries are lost and where members drift to whichever bot is fastest for them. Cove Buy closes the gap inside the group itself and routes the activity through your referral.

Who it's for

Group owners

  • Earn from buys and sells made through the scan buttons.
  • Add custom referral links for other trading bots, so members can use their preferred bot and the referral fee still goes to you.
  • Increase engagement with leaderboards, runner reports and flex cards that keep members active in the group.

Group members

  • Faster entries — one tap from the call to the fill.
  • All-in-one token data — market cap, liquidity, holders, dev history, chart, without leaving the chat.
  • Group leaderboard to see who's calling and trading well.
  • Cleaner trading UX — a consistent scan card instead of a mess of pasted links.

To buy through Cove Buy, a member needs a Cove account — about two taps to create the first time. After that, every button in every Cove Buy group works for them.

Setting up Cove Buy

  1. Start the bot. Open t.me/cove_buy_bot in Telegram, press Start, and open Cove Buy from the menu.
  2. Add it to your group or channel. Choose the community from the picker and confirm.
  3. Give it an admin role. Open the bot's profile in your group, promote to admin, configure the rights it needs and save. You can give it a custom title.
  4. Configure your group. Send /group_settings to open the settings panel, select your community, and adjust buy amounts, links and display options.

Once added, Cove Buy is live: the next contract address posted in the group produces a scan card with buttons.

Custom buy amounts

Each group has its own set of Quick Buy amounts, and each chain within the group has its own set. Everyone in the group sees the same buttons. Match them to your members: a whale group might want $100 / $250 / $500 / $1,000; a newer community might want $10 / $25 / $50 / $100.

  1. Open /group_settings and tap Custom Buy Amounts.
  2. Select the chain whose amounts you want to change.
  3. Edit the amounts and apply.

The next scan in the group shows the new buttons.

Not everyone wants to trade through the same bot. Cove Buy lets you decide which trading bots appear as quick-buy links on each scan, per chain, and attach your own referral code to each. Referral fees from those links go straight to your account — whether the member buys through Cove or through the other bot you've linked.

  1. Open /group_settings → Custom Links.
  2. Select a chain to see the trading bots available for it.
  3. Tap a bot to open its referral setup.
  4. Enter your referral code for that bot and save.

Scans now show your linked bots with your referral attached. This is the answer to "I already have other scanners in my group — why do I need Cove Buy?" You keep the bots your members like; the fees route to you.

Discovery and search commands

Cove Buy is more than buy buttons. It's a full research toolkit inside the chat.

COMMANDWHAT IT DOES
/ds Search pairs by name or ticker — chain, volume, new pairs, market cap
/dtTrending tokens by recent scans over the last 24 hours
/pfs Search newly created tokens on Pump.fun
/old Find the oldest tokens matching a ticker, with fuzzy matching
/new Find the newest tokens matching a ticker
/c 0x…Detailed token card plus a price chart with 15m and 4h intervals
/cc 0x…Instant Dex chart image for a token
/web Scan a website: WHOIS, DNS records and a clone/scam check
/moni <@handle>Scan an X profile: Moni score, smart followers, bio
/nowRoundup of the most important crypto news from the last 24 hours
/indexTop 10 coins overview
/volVolume statistics across launchpads

The point of /web and /moni is due diligence without leaving the group: a fresh domain with no history and a fresh X account with no smart followers are two of the strongest scam signals, and both are one command away.

Token intel commands

COMMANDWHAT IT DOES
/nh 0x…Analyse a token's top and notable holders
/dp 0x…Check DexPaid status, boosts, ads and Community Takeover (CTO) status
/dev Investigate a developer's past launches and their all-time highs
/wallet A wallet's PnL and statistics over a timeframe
/wl Label a wallet by replying to a panel, so it's recognisable in future scans

/dev is the command experienced traders run first. A developer whose previous five launches all went to zero is a developer whose sixth probably will too. /nh shows whether supply is concentrated in a few wallets, and /wl lets your group build a shared memory of which wallets to watch.

Social and engagement commands

COMMANDWHAT IT DOES
/gaGroup leaderboard
/runnersReport on the tokens that ran the highest
/flex 0x…Generate a flex card for a winning trade; /fleximg and /flexfont customise it
/img Generate an image with AI in the chat
/askAsk a general question in the chat
/translateTranslate a message by replying to it

Leaderboards and runner reports are what keep a group competitive and active. Members see who's performing, callers get credit for calls that ran, and flex cards give winners something to share. For international communities, /translate removes the language barrier without a separate bot.

Group admin commands

COMMANDWHAT IT DOES
`/scansonly on\off`Limit the bot to token scans only, keeping the chat clean
`/compact on\off`Make scan panels smaller to save space
/autoimgChoose what image appears automatically with scans: chart, wide chart, image, big banner
/covefixPin a specific contract address to a ticker to prevent wrong-token scans
/showfixesList the ticker fixes active in the group
/group_settingsOpen the group settings panel from inside the group

/covefix matters more than it looks. Popular tickers get copied by dozens of imitators. Pinning the real contract to the ticker means a member typing the ticker always gets the right token — and never buys a clone by mistake.

/scansonly and /compact are for high-volume groups where the chat moves fast and screen space is precious. Scans-only stops members invoking research commands in the main chat; compact shrinks each card.

How buying works for members

A member sees a scan card and taps a Quick Buy button. If they have a Cove account, the buy executes from their unified USDC balance on whichever chain the token lives on, with gas sponsored, guardrails applied and a receipt returned — exactly like a trade from their own Cove chat. If they don't yet have an account, they're prompted to create one, which takes about two taps, and then the buy proceeds.

Group-level controls in the member's own Cove settings still apply. Group-buy limits cap the size of buys made through shared group links so an accidental tap on a big button doesn't oversize a position. Group-sell links control whether sell links are shared into groups.

How owners earn

Buys and sells routed through Cove Buy in your group generate referral fees credited to your Cove account under the Rewards program. Referral tiers are based on the monthly trading volume of users you directly referred: 25% of fees at Silver, rising through Gold (30%), Platinum (35%) and Emerald (40%) to 50% at Diamond for groups driving $100M+ in monthly referred volume. Custom-linked bots pay their own referral fees according to their programs. Full tier details are on the Rewards page.

A group of a few hundred active traders generates meaningful monthly fee share. A large call channel generates a lot more. And because the scan card, research commands and leaderboard all live in your group, members have less reason to trade anywhere else.

Running contests

The combination of /ga leaderboards, /runners and referral earnings makes contests straightforward: announce a period, let the leaderboard track it, reward the top traders and the best callers from your referral share. Members compete inside the group, using the group's buttons, and the fees fund the prizes. It's a closed loop that grows the community and the owner's earnings together.

Frequently asked

I already have other scanners — why add Cove Buy? Because Cove Buy routes trades through Cove and pays referral fees to you, lets members use their favourite bot with your referral attached, and keeps everyone trading without leaving the group.

Can a member buy without a Cove account? No — but creating one is about two taps, and it then works across every Cove Buy group they're in.

Does Cove Buy work in channels as well as groups? Yes. Add it to a channel and every posted contract address gets buttons.

Which chains? Every chain Cove supports — the same fourteen networks as the main trading panel — with per-chain buy amounts and per-chain custom links.

Cove Buy turns a group from a place where calls are posted into a place where calls are executed, researched and celebrated — with the owner earning from every part of it.

Setting up a group well

Owners who get the most from Cove Buy do a few things early.

  1. Set buy amounts per chain to match your members. Buttons that are too large intimidate; too small and members type custom amounts anyway.
  2. Pin your core tickers with /covefix. One wrong-token buy in a group is a trust problem; pinning prevents it.
  3. Turn on /compact in busy chats and choose an /autoimg mode — chart for trading groups, banner for community groups.
  4. Announce the leaderboard. /ga only matters if members know it exists. Post it weekly.
  5. Add custom links for the bots your members already use, with your referral codes. You capture fees either way.

Channel versus group

In a channel, only admins post, so every scan is a curated call and the buttons sit under it. In a group, members post addresses too, so scans-only mode keeps the chat readable and /covefix matters more. Both earn the same way.

Frequently asked

Does Cove Buy need Cove admin in the group? It needs the admin rights you grant during setup to read messages and post scan cards. Give it a custom title if you like.

Can members trade any chain? Every chain Cove supports, from their own unified balance, with their own guardrails and group-buy limits.

Who pays gas on group buys? Cove sponsors gas up to $5 per trade for the member, exactly as in their own chat.

Do research commands cost anything? No. They're free to use in the group.

How do I see what I've earned? Refer & Earn in your Cove main menu shows referred volume, tier and earnings. Custom-linked bots report through their own programs.

Can I run Cove Buy in several groups? Yes. Each group has its own settings, amounts and links, and all route referrals to your account.

Cove Buy and the wider Cove toolkit

Cove Buy is the group-facing surface of the same system members use privately. A buy from a group button is a normal Cove trade: unified USDC balance, sponsored gas, guardrails, receipt, position in Positions, eligible for cashback at the member's tier and — if they have Auto TP/SL on — protected by automatic exits from the moment it fills. Members who want to add a limit order, DCA ladder or take-profit to a group buy do so from their own Cove chat, where the position appears like any other. For owners, Cove Buy sits alongside deep links and the Agent MCP as ways to bring Cove into a community: deep links for custom buttons in your own bots and sites, Cove Buy for automatic scan cards in Telegram, MCP for agents that research and act on the calls your group posts. All three attribute referrals to you and all three run on the same fourteen chains.
